Engineering Graduate Trainee (EGT)

Job Description

  • 2 years of training program under The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Accredited Scheme “A” Training
  • Post Engineering Graduate Trainee assessment scheme after completing the 2-year training program to guide the development of obtaining the professional qualification
  • Responsible for technical job in properties such as works related to electrical & mechanical systems in the properties

Requirements

  • Fulfil the academic requirements for admission into The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) Scheme “A” Training
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Energy / Mechanical Engineering etc.

Surveying Graduate Trainee (SGT)

Job Description

  • 2 years of training program under The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Training Scheme
  • 4 months of training and exposure in Government Buildings Department
  • Eligible to apply The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) professional membership after successful completion of Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)
  • Responsible for technical job in properties such as works related to Building Elements & Components; Repairs & Maintenance; Building Control and Project Management

Requirements

  • Fulfil the academic requirements for admission into The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Training Scheme
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying

Technical Services Officer Trainee (TSOT)

Job Description

  • 1 year of training program for degree holders or above / 2 years of training program for non-degree holders
  • Training areas cover: Property & Project Management; Building Services and Maintenance; Structural Survey & Assessment; Construction Site Safety & Labour Legislation etc.

Requirements

  • A non-HKIE (The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers) or non-HKIS (The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors) accredited or not fully recognized engineering / surveying or relevant academic requirement who is interested in technical training program

Yes, all overseas students who are eligible to work in Hong Kong are welcomed to apply for the program.

Yes, graduates with less than 2 years of working experience are welcomed. Nevertheless, our Trainee Programs are designed and structured for fresh graduates to start their career development at early stage.

For those who want to join Engineering Graduate Trainee (EGT) or Surveying Graduate Trainee (SGT), applicants should have academic qualifications recognized by HKIE/HKIS. For applicants who want to join Technical Services Officer Trainee program (TSOT), all technical disciplines including engineering, computing, science, constructed related qualification, etc., are welcomed.

We will carefully review all applications and go through the selection process. Shortlisted candidates will receive an email invitation for joining Assessment in two weeks after application deadline.

Our senior management team will be our assessors in the Assessment and you will take part in several challenging tasks, including written test, case study, group assessment and panel interview.

It will take around 8 weeks to complete the whole process from application deadline to offer announcement. Please refer to our recruitment process (timeline).

There is no limit of the in-take for our Technical Trainee program. It mainly depends on the calibre of candidates.
